Iran’s attempted strike on the U.S.-U.K. base blew apart years of comforting nonsense about its missile limits. Tehran said it stopped at 1,200 miles. Then it tried to reach nearly twice that far.
I wish people would quit saying “Iran said this …” “Iran did that …”
Iran doesn’t speak with one voice or act following one policy any more. ( in this War) The only consistency now is what indidual Iranian people believe.
Any Iranian Cleric must be assumed to be lying, to all “infidels”, all the time. Their “God” commands them to do that.
All faithful Muslims can be assumed to be lying at any particular time. They are taught that Not Lying is sinful. Backsliding. Failing to faithfully obey their God. They will feel bad if they Don’t lie. Decieve you. Get the better of you in some way.
So called secular muslims should be suspected of lying. To lie is imgrained in their culture. They won’t feel bad about it if they lie.
Good lord. Now tell us that all Jews should be suspected of lying all the time in their desperation to survive as a tribe or as a religion. You are unhinged.
Is this what Leviticus tells the Israeli Jews to do, Barry? Shameful.

'No Innocent Children': Far-right Israeli Lawmaker Defends Killing of Palestinian Family
MK Yitzhak Kroizer of Ben-Gvir's far-right party made the remarks in the Knesset after a Palestinian family was gunned down in the West Bank; MK Ayman Odeh filed an ethics complaint, saying 'everywhere there are innocent people, Israelis and Palestinians'
A lawmaker from the far-right Otzma Yehudit party told the Knesset on Wednesday that "there are no innocent civilians, no innocent children in Jenin."
Defending the soldiers involved in the incident, Kroizer said, "I stand behind IDF soldiers in every situation. Even if the collateral damage includes children or women, it doesn't matter to me."
Actually Barry, read Leviticus and keep going from there. Listen to the words of the moronic rabbis in the West Bank as they encourage ever more squatter violence against the indigenous Gentiles there. Never forget that Israel’s execrable Minister of National Security (to whom all police in Israel, and in the illegally occupied territories report), the obese Itamar Ben-Gvir, for years, kept a portrait of the mass murderer terrorist Baruch Goldstein on the wall of his living room in the West Bank.
Meanwhile, for years Israel has denied that it was the country to introduce nuclear weapons to the Middle East. It’s estimated to now have over 100 nuclear warheads. All of Europe is within range in the event that Israel elects to use its infamous Samson Option. Don’t forget that only months ago Israel insanely bombed America’s most important ally in the region - Qatar.
So Israel’s nuclear facilities are within the range of Iranian missiles? Just as Iran’s nuclear facilities have been within the range of Israeli attacks?
Islamic Republic of Iran is a dictatorship, detested by 80% of its population. The Iranian regime just massacred 40,000 of its youth in just two days. Iran continually threatens America and Israel "Death to America" "Death to Israel".
If Iran had had the capability, I am quite sure they would have used nuclear weapons in the past 2 weeks. It is only because our 12-day-war bombing set them back , that they have been unable to use nuclear weapons.
We know North Korea has nuclear weapons and the delivery systems to use them. We can be pretty sure that the N Koreans are loonier than the Iranians. You may have noticed that the U.S. and Israel don’t bomb N Korea.
You might want to familiarize yourself with the theory of mutually assured destruction. This is why N Korea doesn’t launch its nukes. Hopefully it’s why Israel will never use its nukes either.
What the last 3 weeks have convinced many countries around the world is that, like N Korea, they should have nukes too. If Iran had nuclear weapons neither the U.S. nor Israel would have attacked it.
You may have missed the memos back in 1966-1967 when the USSR informed the UAR (Egypt and Syria) that Dimona had become a nuclear weapons factory for Israel. June 1967, Israel preemptively attacked every Muslim neighbors' air fields to prevent them from attacking Dimona 60 years ago. Since then, Israel has created an arsenal of strategic and tactical nuclear weapons that rivals Pakistan's. You've underestimated the number of nuclear weapons Israel has according to OSINT (US War College) by a factor of 4.
Qatar is indeed important to US CENTCOM and US Intelligence. Rank ordering it as America's Persian Gulf States/Arabian Peninsula #1 ally...a stretch.
Like the USA, Russia, & China, Israel maintains effective nuclear deterrence against its proximal threats--quite effective tactics. To date, a number of Middle Eastern nuclear R&D programs have been successfully attacked and destroyed: (1) Iraq's Al-Tuwaitha nuclear R&D facilities by Iran (1980) followed by Israel (1981) & US (2003); (2) Syria's nuclear R&D facilities by Israel (1990s); (3) Libya by NATO; & (4) Iran by US-Israel (2025-2026). Ayatollah Ali-Khamenei et al have missed the opportunity to attack Israel's nuclear arsenal.
Regarding the risk of Israel attacking a NATO or non-NATO member country in Europe, no one has expressed concern about Israel potentially launching a nuclear attack against Europe. Only Iran, Pakistan, Russia, and China have hinted at doing that under select circumstances. Perhaps you have intercepted intel about Israeli plans re: the EU? Can you share? All the best, Gary.
I would only hasten to add the U.S. has bases throughout the Gulf region not to protect the oil rich countries from Israel, but to protect the oil rich countries from Iran.
A point which has been made clear — and affirmed in its necessity — over the last three weeks.
A small but essential detail to add in your otherwise superb retrospective.
The people who want something to do with the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza are the Gentiles who are indigenous to that land.
Your credibility is greatly damaged when you say that “Israel completely left Gaza“ after 2005. Gaza never had a hint of sovereignty when it came to self governance. It didn’t have port facilities people there could control and utilize, it didn’t have an international airport that it controlled, it didn’t control its water supply nor to control its electricity supply. Indeed it didn’t control its fuel supplies for energy. This was all controlled by the Israeli colonizers. Very much like apartheid in the West Bank, repeat with Bantustans. East Jerusalem is moderately better, but we know that while Israel claims it is part of Israel, the vast majority of Arabs who live in East Jerusalem have not been offered Israeli citizenship, making them stateless people in their own land.
The temple was destroyed, of course, as was prophesied by the Messiah, the Jewish Carpenter, who is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No surprise there - you can read about it abundantly in the New Testament of our Bible, which also explains in detail the New Covenant that the Messiah brought for both Jews and Gentiles, placing them all on an equal footing.
We all know that a great many of the indigenous Arabs in Palestine are descended from the Jews, who simply stayed after the destruction of the temple and assimilated via the process we see all of the time in the United States. And, folklore regarding books of the Bible that were written many thousands of years ago says that Ishmael, Abraham‘s other son, was the person from whom the Indigenous Palestinians came. I’d say that makes them pretty indigenous.
Indeed, if people who have lived on a land on an uninterrupted basis for 1500+ years are not indigenous while people who haven’t lived on a land for 2000 years, if ever, are indigenous, it really stretches, credibility and reason.
Arguing about this is all silly. Neither the Jews, nor the indigenous Gentiles are going away. One land, three religious, two tribes – nobody is going to do ethnic cleansing and Israel can’t kill them all no matter how badly they want to. Literally, the only possible viable outcome is the one state solution which will have a modest majority of Gentiles versus Jews, with equal rights for all, including the right of return.
The truth and reconciliation process will be difficult, but it will be awesome to witness as people finally figure out the way forward to live together in peace.
Meanwhile, I’d give the racist rationalizations a rest. They don’t flatter you.
Russia has long been having both the various ways of delivery and the nuclear warheads. Russia has repeatedly said they want USA to be destroyed. They have been wagging wars in Europe. They use chemical and biological weapons.
President Donald Trump announced plan to commit major war crimes in 48 hours if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened.
In a month Washington has gone from rise up against you're government Iran, Trump has got your back, to Trump is going to make you collectively suffer and at the same time, make the oil and gas crisis worse.
Intentionally targeting critical civilian infrastructure to cause collectively suffering is a war crime. Additionally, targeting hydroelectric dams and nuclear power plants are an Article 56 violation with almost no exceptions.
While every sentient being knows that Israel has many nuclear weapons, it maintains the policy of nuclear ambiguity so aggressively that if an Israeli citizen who has had any involvement with the program even talks about its existence, that citizen is thrown in jail for a long time.
You have given a perfect definition of why every country should want to have nuclear weapons, including North Korea, Israel, and, dare I say it, Iran. One reason that Israel can so aggressively and ceaselessly attack its neighbors in the way it does, living in a state of what is truly perpetual war, is that it has the nuclear weapons and that the Samson option is well known and recognized.
With Europe, including Turkey, having truly lost all patience with Israel, it’s not unimaginable that sometime in the next 10 to 20 years, the Europeans could seek to intervene and force the creation of a Palestinian state. It’s also not an inconceivable that a European country or countries could actually kidnap/arrest Netanyahu or any one of the unsavory characters who compose the Israeli cabinet and take them in shackles to the ICJ. Who knows how unstable Israel might be then? And, having now moved political assassination into the realm of acceptability, what if several Israeli leaders are killed Mountbatten style in Europe?
If Israel was truly the sort of ally that you say it is, rather than being an American vassal state on the one hand and a truculent meddler in American politics on the other, there would be one supreme Commander in the Iran theater for this latest “excursion“ (don’t call it war) with all air attacks, air defense, and potential ground attacks being coordinated by a Supreme Commander (think Eisenhower in World War II). Instead, we have witnessed the embarrassment of America’s president who has very pointedly asked Israel not to attack major Iranian energy infrastructure while Israel has gone ahead and done just that, thereby opening a Pandora’s box where the Iranians feel little compunction about attacking the massive LNG plants in Qatar, the Abqaiq crude oil processing and stabilization facilities in Saudi Arabia, every major crude oil load port with the massive tanks, found there, and the huge desalination facilities that all the Gulf states are very dependent upon. That’s not a great definition of a “ally“.
And, of course, we saw the Israelis rub our last President’s nose in it as he persisted in giving Israel ever more charity to facilitate the Gaza debacle while it refused to American requests to permit aid shipments into Gaza (recall the pathetic failed attempt to build a temporary discharge port in Gaza).
As to Qatar’s relative status as an ally, call me when Israel permits a huge American military footprint on its soil including what is essentially the headquarters of Central Command. It might also be useful to compare the American foreign assistance demanded by Israel in the last 40 years with that which has been granted to Qatar.
If there is an “allied” ground invasion of Iran do you think the Israelis will provide perhaps 5000 IDF soldiers to serve under American military command for that? Or would they prefer to entertain themselves invading Lebanon, which is not in the U.S.’ best interest, while our Marines do all the heavy lifting?
Let’s be clear. If it wasn’t for Israel the American exposure to hostilities in the Middle East would be 10% of what it has been for the last 50 years. George Marshall and Dwight Eisenhower had much wisdom on this subject.
Israel, of course, has a right to exist, but that right stops at its internationally recognized boundaries, which do not include East Jerusalem, the West Bank or Gaza. One has to wonder why the United States persists in charitably granting so much taxpayer money to a country that so aggressively ignores international law and which protects a squatter class whose violence is execrable. Is it possible that Haiti (600 miles from our borders rather than 6800 miles) might need it more?
When Jordan controlled East Jerusalem the streets were filled with garbage and raw sewage, and women were led around like donkeys- I know because I was there soon after the 6-Day War (1968) and saw it with my own eyes. I was 16, and completely shocked at the way women were treated. I will never forget those images.
Jordan and Egypt, respectively, did not want anything to do with the West Bank and Gaza after 1968. Israel completely left Gaza in 2005, and the result was a build-up of terror and corruption, financed by Iran, constant terror attacks, and the October 7 murder-fest.
Yes Islamists hate the Jews. But a major chant of the Islamists, both in the Middle East and in the West, is kill Infidels- which includes anyone who is not a Muslim (and for some chanter, anyone who is not of the same sect as the chanters). Islamists hate train their children in hate, and try to force everyone else to be an Islamist.
Remember please, that Jerusalem was a Jewish city, and only later conquered by Romans, Crusaders, and Arabs. The location of Al Aksa and Dome of the Rock is the temple mount, where the holiest of sites for the Jews was once located.
My hope is that the Iranians will get their country back from the dictators, and there will be a new era of peace.
We hope that the Israelis can recover their country from the thugs now running it. But public opinion polling and the ever increasing squatter violence don’t encourage one to foresee a very rosy future for Israel.
Capitan Kitty: I'm glad you found it informative. Please know that since India's PM Modi attended the signing ceremony (Feb 2026) for the " India-Israel Mutual Economic Business-Tech-Financial-Defense Agreements", the nuclear power bookends of India-to-Israel will be standing guard over the Middle East/Central Asia separate and distinct from US CENTCOM. Separate? Yes. Coordinated? Yes.
Eitan: We suspect you are being a bit tongue in cheek about Iran's ballistic missiles capabilities or claims. As IRGC continues to slowly commit suicide, clearly they intend to message future Muslim majority nations to persist with these pursuits. The immense amount of GDP IRGC has squandered is incredible. Saying one has ballistic missile capable of twice the flight distance of what is real is humiliatingly sad. Full.
PLEASE INDULGE MY ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS BELOW:
Turkiye (nuclear weapons are controlled by US/NATO at Incirlik) and Pakistan (nuclear capabilities are kept in view by IAEA & US Intelligence Services at all times) have chosen not to commit suicide to date. Some Sunni or Shi'a nation which chooses to go down the nuclear/ballistic missile delivery capabilities path which have brought ruination to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Egypt will recall the catastrophic GDP losses and failures of their nuclear ambitions.
Expecting China or Russia to shield a nascent Muslim majority nation's pursuit of nuclear weapons flies in the face of obvious truth--Russians and Chinese governments DESPISE their Muslim populations.
It doesn't justify the US-Israeli war against them. Russia has long been having both the various ways of delivery and the nuclear warheads. Russia has repeatedly said they want USA to be destroyed. They have been wagging wars in Europe. They use chemical and biological weapons.
War against Iranian Regime is totally justified. They were nearly ready- and planning to attack the West. Certainly if all the Iranian Regime cared about was Israel, they wouldn't have needed long-range missiles.
Relax. The poor lady isn’t familiar with the theory of Mutually Assured Destruction. One US submarine has more warheads that could be delivered with precision accuracy against Iran than Iran could use against anyone else in the next 25 years.
No. they were not planning attack the West. We know that Iran posed no threat to the USA or Europe. That's one of the reasons why we know Trump attacked Iran for completely selfish reasons.
Two more reasons:
2) Russia has been already attacking the West -- Trump has reduced any counter measures to the minimum, and including lifting economic and personal sanctions
3) Trump removed sanctions from Iranian oil companies.
Two more critical reasons the U.S. war is not justified:
4) "Nearly ready" / "planning to attack" do not mean imminent threat to any country. Russia is ready and has plans in place to attack Western countries (and they actually have already as recently as in September 2025). Why you not bombing Moscow?
5) US Constitution and laws say that only congress may authorize a war, especially a war of aggression.
There are many more.
---
Under international law, an act of military aggression is the use of armed force by a State against the sovereignty, territorial integrity, or political independence of another, violating the UN Charter. Defined by UN General Assembly Resolution 3314 (1974) and the Rome Statute, this includes, regardless of a formal declaration of war:
- Invasion, occupation, or annexation of another state's territory.
- Bombardment of territory or ports.
- Attacks on another state's armed forces.
- Misuse of forces stationed on foreign territory.
- Permitting territory to be used for aggression against a third state.
- Sending armed groups to commit acts of force against another
There is another reason which justifies an attack on a nation, if they are known to be attempting to make weapons of mass destruction, such as nukes. They have the missiles to reach Europe and who's to say they didn't fire their best missiles?
Russia already has the nukes, is already waging war against the West, and already has long reangle missiles, already promised to destroy the USA, UK and EU many times.
"No. they were not planning attack the West. We know that Iran posed no threat to the USA or Europe."
I'm sure the various lefties thought their fellow revolutionaries were friends too, until they were arrested, tortured and executed by the Islamic regime.
Their missiles were only supposed to reach 2,000 km.
We know now that they lied.
Anyone who believes anything from a Muslim is a fool.
That's funny. Christian nationalists aren't killing people who simply reject their religious beliefs. Christian nationalists aren't forcing women into subservient roles and physically beating them sometimes to the point of death if they don't comply. Christian nationalists aren't employing the practice of slavery in these modern times, but radical Muslims are……Oops.
It seems you don't understand how to properly compare two different groups of people and then employ critical thought understand the differences.
I wish people would quit saying “Iran said this …” “Iran did that …”
Iran doesn’t speak with one voice or act following one policy any more. ( in this War) The only consistency now is what indidual Iranian people believe.

Yes.
Here you can read again the only reaon why Trump waged war:

President Donald Trump announced plan to commit major war crimes in 48 hours if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened.
In a month Washington has gone from rise up against you're government Iran, Trump has got your back, to Trump is going to make you collectively suffer and at the same time, make the oil and gas crisis worse.
Intentionally targeting critical civilian infrastructure to cause collectively suffering is a war crime. Additionally, targeting hydroelectric dams and nuclear power plants are an Article 56 violation with almost no exceptions.
Only damn fool or a venal
Politician bought that crap.
We should always expect the worst and prepare for it.
In this case , anything is possible with this regime and therefore , prepare for the worst.
And… Nukes, dirty bombs and biological weapons don’t have to be accurate to be effective…
Surprise not
Hope Tel Aviv soon looks like Gaza.X
I hope Muslims come to your house when female members of your family are home.
You're probably more likely to have Zach Polanski in your home ,he looks like something Goebbels would put on a propaganda poster.
Attacking an airbase does not strike me as a war crime.
Question also whether this is a false flag operation.
How can you be sure Iran didn’t acquire missiles from Putin in exchange for drones?
Hitting DG might have set back the Kharg operation so it wasn’t completely whack-a-do. But ultimately as futile as every other Iranian attempt.
It doesn't justify the US-Israeli war against them. Russia has long been having both the various ways of delivery and the nuclear warheads. Russia has repeatedly said they want USA to be destroyed. They have been wagging wars in Europe. They use chemical and biological weapons.
Go and bomb Moscow, then Iran will be quite.
War against Iranian Regime is totally justified. They were nearly ready- and planning to attack the West. Certainly if all the Iranian Regime cared about was Israel, they wouldn't have needed long-range missiles.
But also USA should arm Ukraine to the hilt.
Here you can read again the only reason why Trump waged war:

Keep bombing them!
Russia already has the nukes, is already waging war against the West, and already has long reangle missiles, already promised to destroy the USA, UK and EU many times.
Why don't you bomb Moscow and their dictatorship?

"No. they were not planning attack the West.
Christian Nationalists are the White Taliban, same fascists radical religious fanatics.
How many mosques were shot after 9-11?
That's funny. Christian nationalists aren't killing people who simply reject their religious beliefs. Christian nationalists aren't forcing women into subservient roles and physically beating them sometimes to the point of death if they don't comply. Christian nationalists aren't employing the practice of slavery in these modern times, but radical Muslims are……Oops.
It seems you don't understand how to properly compare two different groups of people and then employ critical thought understand the differences.
